Tonight we were playing for The Friendship Group ( Senior Citizens) at their christmas dinner! we had a gerat time with the folk! Santa gave the Low Country Boys some prezzies! ...Thank you very much again ladies ...for a lovely supper ...low country boys!

Ulster Scots Language Society Book Launch

Last night we played a few songs at the Book Launch (The Gospel Of Luke In Ulster-Scots)

it was an amazing experience to close your eyes and listen to the readings which were done by folk who speak the tongue naturally !

I have never seen the tide so high ! it was lapping over the harbour wall an hour or so earlier...but i didn't have the camera with me then!

Book Launch

The Ulster Scots Language Society has completed their translation of ~ The Gospel Of Luke, the launch for the new work ( Guid Wittins Frae Doctor Luik ) will take place on the 9th. of December at Edgehill College, Belfast..low country boys will be taking part in the event.

Workin on the farm

Today we were helping with the annual herd test at the neighbours.. i have never seen so many officials in one yard!.. Low Country Boys recorded a we song about it a we while back..go to the front page of our web site ..scroll down to the bottom right of the page click your mouse over myspace and you will hear it...called workin on the farm! ..Local vet Michael and his assistant are modeling the latest farm fashion wear !
