This week on the farm
Things are hectic at the moment..only a few days left to get the hedges trimmed and layed...but it is a great time of year to be out in the fields and feel the frost nippin at you and see the wee lambs take their first steps! the photos show a view from my cousins farm looking over to the mountains and self feeding a wee orphan lamb yesterday!

Rocky Acres
We had a quiet evening with the folk in Rocky Acres residential home between Ballyhalbert and Portavogie,on Thursday past... a resident in her 90's was able to recite a little Ulster Scots poem she had learned in her childhood called (We Bernie's cuddle doon)...Gibson has copied it doon and is going to use it! There is something beautiful about the old tongue that modern English just doesn't convey!
